Lebanese Center for Policy Studies (LCPS)

The Lebanese Center for Policy Studies (LCPS) is an independent, non-partisan think tank founded in 1989 in Beirut. It produces research and advocates for policies aimed at improving governance in Lebanon and the broader Arab region. Its priority areas include political representation, decentralisation, transparency in natural resource governance, job creation, and youth empowerment.

LCPS has published over 66 books and 100+ policy papers and briefs covering electoral law, administrative reform, rule of law, and sectarianism. The centre was instrumental in founding affiliated organisations including the Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections (1996) and the Lebanese Transparency Association (1999).
