SecureVote

SecureVote is a Sydney-based company providing blockchain-based voting infrastructure. Their platform uses a proprietary Blockchain Agnostic Scalability Layer (BASL) to enable decentralised, anonymous, and auditable elections at scale — stress-tested to 1.5 billion transactions in 24 hours.

The platform has been used for government elections, organisational governance votes, and token-based ecosystem governance. A distinctive feature is their "Copperfield" vote anonymising algorithm, which makes anonymous digital secret ballot possible without compromising verifiability.

Context

SecureVote operates in similar territory to the now-defunct Horizon State. The challenge for both has been the same: demonstrating that blockchain voting is not just technically sound but trustworthy enough for high-stakes public elections, where conservative institutional risk appetite makes adoption slow regardless of technical merits.
